The water of the flooded nullahs gushed inside the houses sitiauted nearby and villagers were confined to their houses trying to pump out the water from their houses.
The bridge on Todhya nullah was submerged in the flood and hence passenger buses to Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Lalburra, Seoni could not ply and hence passengers faced many problems.

The passengers who booked tickest for buses to Bhopal-Indore had to cancel their journey as buses could not reach Waraseoni . then passengers had to go to Balaghat to catch buses This spell of rainfall did infused some hope among farmers of revival of their crops. The area did not witnessed good rainfall this season and hence most of the ponds, nullahs were not filled.
