CM Jan Ahirwad Yatra gets good response in Tikamgarh

BJP government has changed winds of politics in State Earlier, it was distant dream for common people to meet CM but now CM is standing amongst people

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that, “We eliminated the distance between government and people. Now there is no distance between village, poor and CM”. Chouhan was addressing huge public gathering in Prithvipur of Tikamgarh district on Thursday.


When CM reached Tikamgarh district, he received rousing welcome from people. Addressing the people, he told that BJP overnment is actually Ggovernment of people. BJP government has changed winds of politics in State. Earlier, it was distant dream for common people to meet CM but now CM is standing amongst people.


Counting the development work done by government in Tikamgarh district, he told that state government gave Rs 24 crore under urban development head. A college was opened for education of boys and girls.


Talking about the capital punishment provision for rapists of minor girls, he told that so far, 13 rapists have received the hanging punishment. Meanwhile, forty Congress workers joined BJP in presence of him.


Addressing people in Lidhora village, he also told that shortly dam built to increase irrigation area of Tikamgarh would be inaugurated. It has been constructed at the cost of Rs 2000 crores. As far as Ken Betwa link project is concerned then state government is in talks with neighbouring Uttar Pradesh.
He said shortly Lidhora village will get benefit of dam water. Later CM’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra passed through Madia, Birora, Sakera, Badaran, Ghisalli Patta, Ishon, Satguava to reach Jatara. In Jatara also, CM received overwhelming response from people as they stood on both sides of his specially designed bus and raised slogans in his favour. He urged people to vote for BJP in coming Assembly elections.
