Cong leader Khan’s house burgled in Dhanpuri

In yet another incident of theft, the house of Congress leader Ibrar Khan was targeted by unidentified miscreants who managed to take away valuables worth lakhs of rupees. The house was locked as the Khan family had gone to Indore on August 23. The theft incident came to fore on August 27, when people residing in the colony found the main door of the house open. The theft incident in the city has exposed the inability of police to tighten noose around miscreants.


According to information. the family was informed by colony people about the house being targeted by unknown miscreants. Khan along with his family cut short jis stay at Indore and rushed back to the city. Accordingly police were informed who carried out investigation by pressing into service fingerprint experts and sniffer dog. The effort remained inconclusive and cops registered case under relevant section of IPC against the unidentified miscreants.
Gold and silver ornaments worth around Rs 1 lakh along with cash of Rs 80,000 kept in the almirah was taken away by the miscreants.
