Ramesh Bais flags-off Durg-Jammu Tawi Express at Tilda

Durg-Jammu Tawi weekly Express has been given two minutes stoppage at Tilda Railway Station. Member of Parliament Ramesh Bais flagged of the train at Tilda railway station on Wednesday.


Passengers and residents of Tilda were very happy on fulfilment of their long pending demand for stoppage of Express train at Tilda passenger halt. MP Ramesh Bais, MLA Janak Ram Verma, Divisional Railway Manager Kaushal Kishore flagged off the train at 10:20 am. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Tanmay Mukhopadhyay and Divisional officials of South East Central Railway, Raipur Division, citizens of Tilda, media persons and local leaders were present during the programme.


Ramesh Bais greeted the public for stoppage of Express train. MLA Janak Ram Verma said local passengers of Tilda have benefit by the two minutes stoppage of Durg-Jammu Tawi Weekly Express at Tilda.


Railway officials informed that train 18215/18216 Durg-Jammu Tawi-Durg weekly Express via Amritsar will have stoppage for two minutes on trial basis for six months starting from Wednesday, August 29. Train 18215 Durg-Jammu Tawi will arrive Tilda station at 10:18 hours and depart at 10:20 hours. Like wise train 18216 Jammu Tawi-Durg Express will arrive Tilda at 17:25 hours and depart at 17:27 hours.
