Collector Bhardwaj visits Beoharbag School

“Education from class VIIIth to class XIIth, a duration of five year, is of prime significance as far as building of career is concerned. Therefore, it is mandatory on the part of students to concentrate on studies,” said Collector Jabalpur Chhavi Bhardwaj while interacting with students at Beoharbag Girls’ School on the occasion of State-wide drive, ‘Mil Banche’ held on Friday.


Under the drive, administrative workers along with elected representative will visit schools to take stock of the situation as part of ‘Mil Banche Abhiyan’. AT the out set the girl students of the government school were partially hesitant faced with Collector. But Collector Jabalpur in her characteristic style interacted with the students that made them comfortable to respond to her.


In course of interaction, Collector Bhardwaj sought information from students about their future prospects pertaining to career. Majority of students said that they would prefer to become IPS officer, air hostess, teacher, doctor and would participate in Olympics. Medical profession preference was second preferred career option among students while some opted to join Aviation Industry as pilot. The students showed their zeal for studies on which Collector Jabalpur expressed her content as said it is natural that girls have increased sense of affinity for studies. She however, said that it is mandatory on the part of girls to become self-reliant under present circumstances and to attain this they will have to work hard for their studies as this would pave way to build their carrier of their choice. The occasion also marked the presence of Kamayani Kashyap Incharge Deputy Director School Education Dr R P Chaturvedi district project co-ordinator, Savita Gangwar Headmistress and others.
