Health employee’s threaten to go on indefinite strike

Demanding 12 pointers “New Bahu-uddeshiya Swasthya Karmchari Sangh” staged two days hunger strike at Neelam Park Bhopal from August 30 to August 31.


Ramkishore Singh Bhadoria, Divisoonal head of New Bahu-uddeshiya Swasthya Karmchari Sangh while speaking to “The Hitavada” said that New Bahu-uddeshiya Swasthya Karmchari Sangh is protesting against salary discrimination since last 5 years. Health Minister Rustam Singh himself had assured health employees to accept their demands.


Therefore health employees postponed their strike but he is not following his words and not taking any action in favour of health employees’ demands. In fact now the Minister says that he hasn’t accepted their demands but people can listen to their dialogues and speeches.


He added that health employees are hurt with this behavior of Health Minister. After all he is the one to whom health employees can rely on. For the purpose New Bahu-Uddeshiya Swasthya Karmchari Sangh has decided to strengthen their protest tying black badges over the hands from September 4 to September 10. If Government will not accept the demands of health employee’s they will call for state-wide indefinite strike from September 11.


Notably, New Bahu-uddeshiya Swasthya Karmchari Sangh is demanding no salary discrimination. Increase in grade pay and various other demands. They claimed that MOS Rustam Singh accepted their demands and said that finance department has enough fund to accept their demands but their demands are not accepted yet.


This indefinite strike could hassle TB, cancer, Blood Pressure, Sugar, vaccination of dengue, malaria, Diarrhea and other national health programmes.
