NSUI demands re-examination of 50 students

NATIONAL Students’ Union of India (NSUI) workers staged demonstration at Skill Development Directorate Office at Rampur demanding to conduct re-examination for 50 students, who have failed due to careless conduction of examination. NSUI workers handed over memorandum to Assistant Director, Skill Development Directorate, on Friday. District Spokesperson, Sachin Rajak says NSUI has been struggling for the rights of students, in ITI since last one year the struggle is continued for students welfare. But the responsible authorities are pay no heed to plight of students. This year the ITI examination centres have been changed from Takshila College and Global College to Vivekanand School and SGBM College. Where three grade system the 4th semester examination was scheduled from 11.45 am to 2.45 pm on August 15 but due to some fault in a computer laboratory around 50 students could not continue their examination.

In this incident, the Centre Director and available officials have mounted pressure on students and have taken solved papers form students and saved in a single computer installed in the Principal room. Students apprised that the solved answers were not saved in the said system. But ignoring this authorities have ignored the objection raised by the students. Even students were released after 5 pm from the centre. Registering complaint against irregularity in the online examination conducted for ITI 4th Semester of Trade Electrician the NSUI workers have demanded to re-conduct the examination for students who were deprive of attempting their examination due to technical fault. Eminent those who were present includes Sachin Rajak, Karam Tansetwar, Rahul Rajak, Shubham Yadav, Sahil Pandey, Sanjay Vishwakarma, Sumit Khateek, Gaurav Abindra, Abilash Pathak, Imran Khan, Swati Rajak, Kajal Namdeo, Suman Thakur, Ayushi Shubham Khare and others were present.
