No tribal will remain without land. Tribals not having land to live will be made land owners by giving patta. BJP Government will work to provide pucca house to every poor in next four years: CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

“DEVELOPMENT is the main mantra of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and we have worked hard to make it happen. As compared to development works accomplished in Congress’ 50 years regime, the BJP has done far better in last 15 years,” said Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan while addressing people during Jan Ashiwad Yatra in Bichia, Dindori, Shahpura, Niwas and Mandla areas in Dindori and Mandla districts on Sunday.

Talking about Sambal Scheme in Bichia, Chouhan said that the BJP Government has worked for people without any discrimination. Dubbing Sambal Scheme as a revolutionary one, he told that all poor people have been covered under the scheme. Earlier, farmers having 2.5 acre land were getting benefits under the scheme, but now farmers of 5 acre will also be benefited,” he informed. He added that even small businessmen have been covered under the scheme so that every poor can get benefitted from the scheme. He said that tribals have worked to conserve the tradition and they are treated with respect and a sense of pride.

“Now, no tribal will remain without land. Tribals not having land to live will be made owner by giving patta. BJP Government will work to provide pucca house in place of hut to every poor in next four years,” Chouhan added. He further announced to give Rs 25,000 to tribal folk artists who presented folk dance to welcome him.
On the occasion, BJP National Vice-President Prabhat Jha, CM’s wife Sadhna Singh, MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, Minister Omprakash Dhurvey, Rajya Sabha MP Sampatiya Uikey etc were present.

Addressing people in Samnapur, Chouhan said that power bills of more than 8,300 people of Bichia area have been waived off and now these people will get power for just Rs 200 per month.

Taking a step further in women empowerment, he said that the State Government is working to increase income of women through forest produce including Kodo-Kudhki etc.
Assuring to include demands made by MP Faggan Singh Kulaste, MLA Pandit Singh Dhurve into work plan, he told that people of Birsa village, who have been affected due to submergence, will get help shortly. He accused the Congress of not allowing poor tribals to move ahead as they did not want that they should become educated and prosperous as this thing will hit their vote bank. However, BJP-led State Government is committed towards welfare of tribals.
