JMC organises Nature Trail to apprise citizens of natural beauty

In order to apprise citizens of natural beauty of the city, the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC), on Sunday organised a Nature Trail. The trail was started from Devtal and after watching divine beauty of temples situated in the area the participants advanced to Shailparna Udyan.
Citizens, including children, youths and elders watched closely the mother nature. They saw ponds, canals, cave, hills and greenly spread all around the area. The next destination of the trail was Osho Ashram, which is surrounded with lush green trees, shrubs and flowers. The peaceful atmosphere of the Ashram enchanted everyone.

It may be mentioned that hundereds of Osho followers come here to practice dhyan and yoga. A number of foreigners also visit the Ashram regularly. During Nature Trail people were also apprised of SWEEP Abhiyan under voters' awareness programme. They were also administered oath of exercising franchise during ensuing elections.

It may be noted that the civic body had in the past also organised such trails and got unprecedented success. Encouraged with the success of earlier initiatives, the JMC has again organised Nature Trail. A number of people participated in the trail and watched the mother nature closely. Amongst those also present on the occasion were Executive Director, Chandramauli Shukla, CEO Gajendra Singh Nagesh, Deputy Commissioner, Rakesh Ayachi, Executive Engineer, S K Dwivedi, Kamlesh Shrivastava, Abhishekh Dubey, Ankur Khare and Balendu Shukla.
