Minister Gupta fetes Harshita Tomar, 1,500 teachers

MINISTER for Revenue, Science and Technology Umashankar Gupta honoured over 1,500 teachers of various schools of South-West Assembly constituency by presenting a shawl and shriphal at Kamla Nehru School on Sunday. He also honoured Harshita Tomar, who won bronze medal in sailing in water sports event in Asian Games-2018 and National Teachers Award recipient Usha Khare.

Minister Gupta said that students will attend classes, when teachers will give cent per cent of their capabilities to them. He mentioned that students and teachers come to school with a mindset to learn and to teach respectively.

Minister Umashankar Gupta further mentioned that students not only learn from things written on the blackboard but they also learn many things from activities conducted in the school premises. He said that behavior and conduct of teachers should be such that it should develop a feeling of faith and respect in the heart of students. He stated that teachers must bring changes in them with changing time. Those who do not change themselves with time, lose their existence over a period of time. Minister Gupta mentioned that political workers must connect themselves with social concerns.

Principal Usha Khare said that activities in connection to girls’ education, digital education and self-defence have been organised on priority in Girls Higher Secondary School, Jahangirabad. Chairman of Matikala Board Ramdayal Prajapti and local public representatives were also present.
