NIT Raipur’s E-summit concludes on a high note

The second day of the E-summit at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur began with the start up camp where various start ups explained their work and also provided an opportunity of internship to the students. There were startups like ‘Code Nicely,’ ‘Polllzy’ and many more distinct start ups in different fields. Parallel to startup camp B-case study finale was conducted. The Hitavada was the media partner of the two-day event.


The startup camp was followed by the speaking session by Kumar Gaurav, CEO of CASHAA and Chairman of AUXESIS. He spoke about shared economy and discussed about the future of industry. The next speaker in line was a known philanthropist Sandeep Bachhe, popular as ‘Munna Bhai SSC’. He is an active social worker cum auto driver. He is actively serving cancer patients, giving free rides to senior citizens and handicapped people.


The speaker sessions were followed by finale rounds of Cricnometrica and Wallstreet. Cricnometrica, a mock IPL auction consisted of a guidance seminar and an event. The competition was judged on the basis of points earned by the team and was won by Ritwik Sinha and team. Wallstreet 18, an event organised to give participants feel of a virtual stock market was very happening and allured a large crowd. After a long competition it was finally won by Sukriti Tiwari and Moin Rawani.


Many experts in their respective fields spoke about the need to hack the growth to lead startup ecosystem in Chattisgarh. The speakers were Taytil Singh - CEO at Space, Mohit Sahu - Director at Blue Banyan and Co-founder Puru Agrawal, Pranjal Kamra - Founder at Finology, and lastly Divya Priyank - Consulting Manager at Mobile10X.


The event was followed by a staggering performance by Raag Music Academy. Then came the most awaited person of the evening, Nishant Tanwar who entertained the audience with his stand-up comedy.
