YC activists stage protest for not providing employment to youths in BSP

As per their pre scheduled programme, ‘Halla Bol-5’ the activists from Youth Congress to press their demand for providing employment to the local youths in Bhilai Steel Plant staged vehement demonstration on Sunday. The YC activists were led by State Yuva Congress President, Koko Padhi and Durg District Vice President, Mohammad Shahid in the presence of MLA Durg, Arun Vora, National Secretary, Abraham Mani Roy and others.

The activists while demonstrating proceeded towards Ispat Bhawan but were stopped by police by putting barricades. The activists sat on the road and demanded the BSP IR official to sit with them and handed over the memorandum to him threatened that if their demands are not heard they will organize Halla Bol-6 inside Bhilai Steel Plant. Only after receiving assurance from IR Official, Mr Soni that a meeting with the senior officials will be organsied within three days the youth congress activists returned back.

Md. Shahid informed that we have been forced to go for massive demonstration by BSP and if our demands are not heard we will be forced to go for more aggressive agitation.
Those participated in the demonstration were former MLA, Pratima Chandrakar, National Secretary, Santosh Kolkunda, Deepak Mishra, Chakeswar Gadpaile, Subodh Haritpal, Dharmendra Yadav, Brijmohan Singh, former leader of opposition in BMC, Shiju Anthony, Irfan Kahn, District Congress President, Tulshi Sahu and others.
