Collector expresses displeasure over long pendency complaints

Collector Chhavi Bharadwaj, on Monday expressed great displeasure over long pendency of CM Helpline complaints. She while reviewing status of pending complaints during the Time Limit meeting said lack of determination in officials is resulting into pendency of complaints.


She expressed unhappiness over disinterest showed by officials of Food, Agriculture, Horticulture and Tribal Development Department in timely redressal of CM Helpline complaints. The Collector directed the Assistant Commissioner, Tribal Development to make extra efforts and redress complaints on time. She also asked the Assistant Commissioner for immediate steps in the matter related to pending scholarship complaints.


The Collector also directed to issue notice for checking two salary increments of a Tehsildar and two Nayab Tehsildar for not doing satisfactory redressal of even a single complaint in the month of August. She also stressed the need of immediate steps for redressal of CM Helpline complaints of Education Department.


During the meeting Collector, Bharadwaj also directed concerned senior officials for needed steps for pending payment of gram. She directed senior officials of Power Distribution Company to ensure replacement of out of order transformers in rural areas of the district. She also asked the officials of Food department to ensure off-line distribution of food grains in rural areas where problems have arisen due to unavailability of network.


The Collector also asked Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Harshika Singh for appropriate steps for early redressal of pension related complaints. She directed the District Pension Officer to ensure redressal of complaints of teachers on priority basis.


Addressing the Time Limit meeting she asked senior officials to ensure whitewash of Government properties, which bear slogans or any other paintings within three days. The properties include schools, government offices and other government buildings.


Collector and District Election Officer, Chhavi Bharadwaj cautioned senior officials to ensure sincerity towards pre-election preparations. She sought details about the efforts made by Department heads in obeying the directions given for including the names of Government officials and employees in electoral roll. She said it would be the accountability of department heads to ensure needed participation of employees in training programmes for elections. She asked Zonal Officers to inspect concerned polling centers and ensure needed arrangements at the centers. She also asked to ensure review of criticality and vulnerability of polling centers. Amongst those participated in the meeting were CEO, District Panchayat, Harshika Singh, Assistant Collector, V P Dwivedi, Sarodhan Singh, F Rahul Haridas and head of various departments.
