Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan struck an emotional chord while addressing people during Jan Ashirwad Yatra in Betul district on Tuesday. “I want to change the lives of people and is on the path of mission in this regard. But Congressmen say that they want to change Shivraj. Now, it is up to people to decide that on which path they want to tread, the path on which BJP government moved ahead in 15 years or on path of destruction on which Congress wanted to take the State,” he said.


Addressing people in Multai of Betul, he said that with the inauguration of Parasdoh dam, he has fulfilled his promise which he made during his last visit to Multai. He said that BJP government constructed 27 small dams for farmers of Betul district. Now, Parasdoh dam, constructed at the cost of Rs 400 crore, has been dedicated to people. This dam will help in increasing the agriculture productivity. He appealed people to bless BJP in coming Assembly elections.


Attacking Congress leader Digvijay Singh, he told that Digvijay Singh ruined the education system of State. “State will not forgive Digvijay Singh for roping in Shikshakarmi in lieu of just Rs 500 per month,” he rued. He promised that he will not allow any kind of problem to raise its head in path of education of children. He announced to open ITI in Multai. In Betul, he announced to develop Multai as best tourism centre as it has immense opportunities of tourism. He also spoke about Sambal scheme and said that earlier only poor people were included in it but now poor shopkeepers have been also covered under the scheme. On this occasion, BJP National Vice President Prabhat Jha, MP Jyoti Dhurve, Chairman of Civil Supplies Co-operation Dr Hitesh Vajpayee, MLA Chandrashekar Deshmukh, MLA Hemant Khandelwal, former minister Kamal Patel etc were also present.
