Sacked contractual employees threaten Sadak Andolan

VARIOUS organisations of contractual employees have threatened for ‘Sadak Andolan’ from September 18 if their long pending demands are not fulfilled by the Government.
Addressing the press conference, Renu Upadhyay, Patron of Service Terminated Contractual Health Employees said that Government is fooling sacked employees. Government adopted use and throw policy for secretaries of Madhya Pradesh Panchayat, contractual health employees and farmers. All the contractual employees and farmers are now ready to come under one umbrella and are giving call for a ‘Sadak Andolan’.


She added that contractual workers and farmers will now stage Sadak Andolan and the Government have 4 cabinets left and now they have time to reply in coming Assembly elections.


She said that over 1,84,000 contractual officers and employees are struggling for regularisation, seventh pay commission and other basic facilities while contractual workers in other states are already availing the benefits of the same.


State President of Chief Executive Officers of Janpad Panchayat Association Bhupesh Gupta said that Government is aware of the fact that population is struggling for employment. Contractual employees are sacked even on silly mistakes. Government hardly investigates about the reason behind complaint. This has left thousands of contractual employees in lurch.


He said that the Government takes the benefits of skilled contractual workers and removes them when they are no more needed.


He said contractual employee’s works for several years and becomes jobless in a moment. In fact, families of contractual employees are struggling for basic amenities. Therefore, contractual officers and employees have decided to stand against Government.


Meanwhile, Dinesh Sharma, State President of Panchayat Secretaries Association Ajay Tiwari, Patron of Samvida Sanyukta Sangharsh Manch, Sharad Bajpai, Rakesh Meeda of Krashak Mitra Sangathan were also present on this occasion.
