Dhankatta residents stuck with mud road

Residents of village Dhankatta under Gram Panchayat Pali are facing troubles due to the decrepit kilometre-long road connecting Pali to Dhankatta.


This road was constructed with mud and is now in a very bad condition after incessant rainfall. It is the main approach road for the nearby residents to visit school or market places. Local residents and other passer-bys are even unable to walk, due to accumulated filth on the road. Further, The road connects various market, schools and other main places. Thirty five students pass daily from this road to reach at Pali Middle School, are compelled to pass from the boundaries of farms due the filthier situations of road. Also the senior citizens in order to get groceries items are compelleted to cover additional five kilometres distance via Funga Panchayat.
Even though the villagers have registered several complaints with the concerned authority at Gram Panchayat but the civic body is not paying any attention to the problem.


The villagers have also demanded for construction of concrete cement road, but the problems may not seem to resolve anymore. As the laxity of village Sarpanch and Secretary, Sadanand Sharma and other village officials, residents are getting stuck into problems.


Further, the same condition has occurred in the ward no. 10, due to which children and senior citizens are facing severe troubles. The filth is so slippery and sticky that even vehicles are unable to move and slipped and stuck. But the concerned authority seems to be turning a blind eye on the related issue.
