Workshop on solar energy organised at Real Estate Regulatory Authority

A workshop on solar energy was organised at Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) office in the State capital on Wednesday. RERA Chairman said that solar energy is a better energy alternative for private and Government residential projects. Principal Secretary, New and Renewable Energy Department Manu Shrivastava was also present on the occasion.


RERA Chairman De Sa said that solar energy is a healthy and continuous source of energy and now it can be adopted on broad level because New and Renewable Energy Department of Madhya Pradesh Government has decided to install roof-top project in interest of environment. He said project is environment friendly as well as better economic alternative which needs to be encouraged because future is depend only on renewable energy.


Renewable Energy Department Principal Secretary Manu Shrivastava said that now solar energy is going important because of economic and environment point of view. He said roof-top project has become useful even for small residential premises. He said that colonisers and builders will have to provide only place for this project.


Principal Secretary Shrivastava said that after establishment of the project power bill expenses will become lower.
He informed that solar energy project has been adopted by Good Governance organisation, MANIT and medical colleges, other colleges and Government buildings etc. He said that domestic users are given subsidy for this project.
