Staff Reporter,

Bharatiya Janata Party State Spokesperson Sanjay Srivastava while addressing media at a press conference in Ekatma Parisar, said that on Thursday during a press conference he had termed Chhattisgarh Pradesh Committee as Chhattisgarh Criminal Congress, which became the trended in the top in social media.

However, while stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s intention was to attract the attention of All India Congress Committee and its central leadership towards the activities of its state unit but unfortunately it seems the Congress central leadership also consists of people having criminal mindset alike the CPCC President. The Congress which had lost power in the Centre and was limited to a party which couldn’t garner enough seats to become the principal opposition party, due to this frustration the AICC has now become All India Criminal Congress.

He said that after the ruling given by the Supreme Court of India on Bhima Koregaon issue, the intention of All India Congress Committee towards supporting criminals and traitors has come to fore before the country. The AICC President while coming in support of these urban Maoists had leveled allegations against Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh. On the contrary, the AICC President is gradually becoming supporters of crime, terror, traitors and indecency.

Similarly, in Chhattisgarh also one criminal indulged in activities like character assassination is putting a question mark on the reputation of the whole state. The Chhattisgarh Congress which is severely deprived of political issues, is propagating a crime which it has committed and identifying itself as a political party indulged in below the mark activities. He said that this whole episode is like a black-spot for Congress.

Srivastava further added that the BJP is never interested in creating a hype of such type of activities as the BJP has numerous development works in its kitty which it had done in last 15 years apart from the works carried out by PM Narendra Modi for propagating among the people.

Politics of C’garh is stinking: Baghel

A day after his release from Raipur Central Jail, State Congress President Bhupesh Baghel attacked the ruling party and said that the politics of Chhattisgarh is stinking due to the alleged dissipated acts of a few people. Talking to mediapersons at Rajiv Bhawan here on Friday, Patan MLA Baghel said that the leaders from the opposition party are being trapped in fake cases.

A dirty politics is being played by the ruling party. The ruling party knows very well that lotus blooms in the murky pool of politics. So the political arena of Chhattisgarh is being turned into muddy pool so that the BJP could continue its rule in the state, he added.

“A conspiracy is being hatched by the ruling party to remove me from the post of State Congress President. So a fake case has been registered against me in the sex CD case,” alleged Baghel. The State Congress President claimed that he had only shown the CD before the media in a press conference and his involvement was not in the making and distribution of sex CD.

The Patan MLA claimed that an official working in the secretariat of a senior leader of the ruling party was involved in the sex CD making and its distribution.  Replying to a query, Baghel accepted that he had met Kailash Murarka, who is the main accused in the sex CD case, at the counter of a private hotel in Delhi before this scam surfaced. It is usual for the leaders to meet leaders from other political parties on various occasions, he added.
Baghel said that on the instruction of the Congress high command, he applied for bail and took bail in the sex CD case.

MLAs Dilip Lahariya, Chunnilal Sahu, Deepak Baij, State Congress Treasurer Ramgopal Agrawal, Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, Ghanshyam Raju Tiwari, Dhananjay Singh Thakur, Kiranmayi Nayak and other leaders were present at the press conference.
