CONGRESS President Rahul Gandhi continued his attack on Modi Government over Rafale issue on the second day of Vindhya tour of Madhya Pradesh on Friday. Addressing people in Rewa, Rahul Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should tell the truth about Rafale deal. Talking about rising petrol and diesel rates, Rahul Gandhi said that those who used to do lot of hue and cry over petrol and diesel prices during UPA Government are tight-lipped even after petrol price has touched Rs 90 per liter mark.

Targeting PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi asked people whether they received Rs 15 lakh in their accounts, whether 2 crore youth got jobs, whether farmers received appropriate price of their produce as they were promised? Coming down heavily on the State Government and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Rahul Gandhi said that the Congress is making five announcements and they will be fulfilled. The announcements include waiving off farmers’ loans, to provide adequate price to agriculture produce, to install food processing units in every district, to help youth get jobs and ensure security to women.

Moreover, Rahul Gandhi said that after forming government, Vyapam and e-tender scams will be probed and people cheating the country will be sent behind the bars. State Congress President Kamal Nath told that every section of the society is fed up of BJP. Women are feeling insecure, future of youths is insecure. However, Congress promises to bring smiles on people’s faces. On the occasion, Jyotiraditya Scindia told that the BJP Government has betrayed people in 15 years. Poor people remain poor. Apart from Rewa, Rahul Gandhi addressed rallies in Lalgaon, Tyothar and Bekuntpur.
