Use of advance treatment in Cardiology used in the treatment of a nerve blockade in stomach has given a fresh lease of life to a patient in Shalby Hospital. Patient who was suffering from sever stomach pain since long and was under going treatment, but not gaining health benefits.

Growing complications started affecting his health and also lowering his body weight. He consulted to a Urology Specialist and after all tests his problem could not be diagnosed. Urologist has given an opinion that one of the artery in his stomach could have blockade and on performing tests by Cardiologist and Blood Arteries Specialist, Dr Pushpraj Patel the blockade in Superior Mesenteric artery was diagnosed and treatment was given at Shalby Hospital, informed Dr Kaveri giving brief about the case.

Dr Pushpraj Patel sharing his experiences apprised that probably this would have first of its kind treatment when using procedure of Angioplasty was performed in treating abdomen related ailment. Further delay in diagnose of problem would be resulted in more complication and it could have been fatal for patient life.

He said patients and even in general medical practices such diagnosis are rare. He said as more research and studies are being carried out in this direction. With use of such innovative approaches better treatment of various other ailments could be possible.

In this procedure he was accompanied by noted Cardio Surgeon Delhi, Dr Vikram Mohanti and Dr Kaveri.
