Second Police Duty Meeting begins

The 2nd Nagpur Police Duty Meet has begun at N-Cops Excellence Centre on Saturday. The six-day-long duty meet has been organised with the objective of improving the professional skills of police personnel.


Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Detection Sambhaji Kadam informed that modern investigating techniques were best displayed in police duty meet. A total of 82 police personnel are participating in the meet.


Competition will be held on four subjects after the meet -- Scientific aid to investigation competition, police photography competition, police videography competition and computer awareness.


A total of eight teams of city police will participate in the meet including Zone I, II, III, IV and V, Traffic Control Branch, Crime Branch and Police Headquarters. Price distribution ceremony will be held on October 5 at Alankar Sabhagrih at Police HQ.


DCP Kadam said that officers with sound knowledge of techniques would be rewarded in the meet. Police personnel in the ranks of constable, head constable, ASI, PSI and Inspector from various police station are participating in the meet.
