70 youths feted for being selected in CAF

ALTOGETHER 70 youths including 23 girls of the district have been selected in Chhattisgarh Armed Forces (CAF). These youths including the first and the second rank holder come from interior areas of the district. They all were encouraged and coached by the Superintendent of Police Dr Lal Umed Singh and his team. All the selected candidates were felicitated by the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) RK Vij, Superintendent of Police Dr Lal Umed Singh and Additional Superintendent of Police Maheshwar Naag, amidst a programme held at the SP office.

According to information, under Community Policing Service, free training camp for the youths to qualify in the examination of CAF, , Air Force, Army and Forest Department was held at Outdoor stadium, Kawardha.

During the camp, these youths were imparted training for both physical as well as written examination. The camp was commenced in the month of June, this year and since then these youths have been ongoing proper training for the selection process. During the programme at the SP office, the ADGP Vij met with all the selected candidates and congratulated them for their selection.

He also appreciated efforts of the SP Dr Umed Singh for organizing free camps which is providing proper guidance to the young generation. SP Dr Singh also congratulated and greeted all the selected candidates by offering them sweets on this occasion. He wished all of them a very bright future.
