Bhoomipujan performed for 9th college of JNKVV

In a grand function held on the occasion of Teacher’s day at Khurai development block of Sagar district, bhoomipujan for the 9th college of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur(JNKVV) was performed by Bhupendra Singh, Home and Transport Minister as chief guest along with Gaurishankar Bisen Agriculture minister and MP Sagar Laxmi Narayan Yadav as special guest. The college has been named after Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpaiee for a which of sum of Rs 131.93 crore would be spent.


According to information bhoomi pujan on the occasion of Teacher’s day for 9th college of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwavidyalaya Jabalpur (JNKVV) was performed by Bhupendra SIngh Home and Transport minister as chief guest. The occasion was also graced by Gaurishankar Bisen Agriculture minister and MP Sagar Laxmi Narayan Yadav as special guest, JNKVV Vice Chancellor Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen.


Speaking on the Vice Chancellor Dr Pradeep Kumar Bisen said the bhoomi pujan for the college named after Bharat Ratna Atal Behari Vajpaiee would be the 9th jewel of JNKVV. A sum of Rs 131.93 crore would be spent for the construction of the agriculture college in Khurai development block. The college would have intake of 72 seats and the regular teaching would get started from this year. The construction of the building would get accomplished within a year time.


The occasion also recorded the presence of DR P K Mishra Dean Agriculture, Dr IM Khan Dean Agriculture college Ganjbasoda and Nodal Officer, Dr RK Saraf chief scientist and large number of farmers were present.
