After two days hunger strike, the MPWs under the banner of Madhya Pradesh Bahu-uddeshiya Swathya Karmchari Sangh are tying black badges over their arms to protest in favor of their 12 point demands.

Ramkishore Singh Bhadoriya, Divisional Head of Madhya Pradesh Bahu-uddeshiya Swathya Karmchari Sangh while speaking to ‘The Hitavada’ told that they are protesting in favor of their 12 point demands that included increased grade pay, honorarium equal to the Central Government health employees. He said that health employees had postponed their strike after the assurance of Health Minister but now he says that he don’t even know about the demands of Bahu-uddeshiya health employees.

Bhadoriya added that Madhya Pradesh Bahu-uddeshiya Swathya Karmchari Sangh is feeling duped by this behaviour of Health Minister. Yet, health employees are requesting health officials to accept their genuine demands as health employees in other states are already being benefitted with increased grade pay, honorarium etc. He said health officials including health minister had told them that their files are under process but no action is taken yet.

Therefore, health employees are compelled to resume their protest. He said Madhya Pradesh Bahu-uddeshiya Swathya Karmchari Sangh would protest tying black badges and oppose Health Department till September 10. He also threatened for indefinite strike from September 11.
