Rahul Gandhi’s road show in Bhopal likely on Sept 17

CONGRESS is ecstatic about proposed Bhopal visit of National President Rahul Gandhi. It is making all necessary preparations for the proposed visit. Moreover, Rahul Gandhi’s visit is proposed a few months before Assembly elections, hence Congress is fathoming that Rahul Gandhi’s visit of September 17 will give necessary boost to Congress workers.

Talking to ‘The Hitavada’, Congress Media Incharge Shobha Ojha told that Rahul Gandhi is coming on one-day tour of Bhopal. During this visit, Rahul Gandhi will do a road show in Bhopal. Apart from this, Rahul Gandhi will also interact with party leaders and workers in Samvad programme. Congress workers, leaders, MLAs, MPs, ex representatives, corporators etc will interact with Rahul Gandhi. “A meeting in connection with preparedness of Rahul Gandhi has been called on Friday,” added Ojha.

Earlier, there was news that Rahul Gandhi will be starting tour in Madhya Pradesh from some religious place and name of Omkareshwar was being taken in this regard. It was fathomed that by starting tour of Rahul Gandhi from Omkareshwar to give befitting reply to CM’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra which started from religious city Ujjain. Later, Rahul Gandhi’s tour was reduced till Bhopal road show. Then also, Bhopal visit of Rahul Gandhi is going to raise political temperature of Madhya Pradesh. BJP is keeping its finger crossed in this regard as Rahul Gandhi will definitely make a scathing attack on State and Central Government respectively.

It is also anticipated that Rahul Gandhi will try to apprise himself about ongoing events in Madhya Pradesh, preparedness of party for coming Assembly elections. He may give some new directions to State Congress. Last time, Rahul Gandhi came to Madhya Pradesh following Mandsaur firing incident. During his Mandsaur visit, he had announced that if the Congress is voted to power then farmers’ loan will be waived off within stipulated time limit.
