Staff Reporter,

“Congress Party is now afraid with the arrest of middleman in AgustaWestland VVIP chopper deal and trying to hide the fact of its involvement in accepting the commission of Rs 225 crore. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) presented the accused of scam Christian Michel before the Patiala Court, Delhi who revealed the name of Sonia Gandhi and her involvement in the scam.

Congress leaders are trying to hush up the issue and misguide the public. Italian court has already disclosed the illegal commission of Rs 360 crore in deal of 12 AgustaWestland VVIP choppers amounting to Rs 3,700 crore. The court also revealed that Indian politicians and bureaucrats were given commission of 15 million dollars,” charged Rakesh Singh, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party and Member of Parliament while addressing a press conference, on Monday.

MP, Rakesh Singh informed that the commission was not revealed by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or any other Indian agency, but it was first revealed in the Italian court. In the 225-page order, the Italian court has mentioned the name of Sonia Gandhi. Congress is charging the Modi Government of making fake claims, but the name of Sonia Gandhi has been disclosed by the Italian court, while it was also disclosed that in the commission of Rs 225 crore, 52 percent was given to Congress leaders, 28 percent to bureaucrats and 20 percent amount was given to Air Force officers. The then Air Force, chief, S P Tyagi was already arrested in the scam.

He added that, during the year 2013, the case of scam in AgustaWestland was started in Italian court when the then Congress-led UPA Government had initiated the inquiry under supervision of the then Defence Minister, A K Antony. Later, the Government had handed over the investigation to CBI. Now the CBI obtained custody of the accused Christian Michel. Congress Party is afraid with the statements of Michel, which may reveal the names of Congress leaders. The commission in AgustaWestland deal was  disclosed in the year 2010 when the then Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh had cancelled the deal.

Italian court in Milan city’s order has mentioned the name of Sonia Gandhi four times as Singora Gandhi. Italian court has also revealed the code words used in the commission for Agusta deal as ‘Family’, ‘AP’, ‘Big Man’, ‘Son of Italian Lady’ and ‘R’, which directly indicates the involvement of a family in taking huge commission against the deal.
