Staff Reporter,

BHILAI,

The cooperative bank employees have pressed their long standing demand for granting the revised pay scales through their appeal to the newly inducted Minister for Public Works, Home, Jail, Religious Justice, Tourism and Culture, Govt. of CG Tamradhwaj Sahu. It has been specifically pointed in their appeal that the employees of District Cooperative Central Banks are eagerly awaiting for the payment of revised pay scales since last one year, although Boards of Directors from all cooperative banks have unanimously approved this proposal in general meetings.

It has also been specifically pointed in the appeal by Cooperative Bank employees that for paying revised pay scales to them, there would not be any extra financial burden upon state government. The delay in granting revised pay scales is causing discontent among the employees of cooperative banks from all over the state, which is already causing unprecedented hurdles in the functioning of banks, pointed the employees in their appeal.

They also mentioned that Cooperative banks are assisting the state government for undertaking important Assignments like payment o support price, loan payment, crop insurance etc. The cooperative bank employees, in their appeal specifically pointed that the apathetic attitude of previous government has already caused disgruntlement among the employees. But now, they are having high hopes from the newly inducted minister, Tamradhwaj Sahu, and they are appealing him for considering the long standing demand of a large number of employees from cooperative banks, and to grant them the revised pay scale at the earliest.
