Dial 100 staff accused of hand in black-marketing of FPS ration

Villagers of Simri Madaiyan have lodged a complaint with the Tehsildar, Devendranagar about black-marketing of ration from the Co-operative Society at Simri Madaiyan allegedly by its salesman with help of police personnel deployed at Dial 100.

Villagers alleged that Dial 100 staffers loaded bags of wheat in Dial 100 vehicle in nexus with Jagdish Singh Rajput, salesman of Co-operative Society at Simri Madaiyan and took it away. Villagers informed that at around 1 am on December 27, some 7 bags of wheat were loaded in Dial 100 from Co-operative Society at Simri Madaiyan.

Eye-witness Ramesh Patel saw the salesman taking out wheat bags from Society and then police personnel were helping in loading in Dial 100. When Ramesh Patel inquired from them as to what was happening and where bags of wheat are being taken, his queries were ignored.

Then in morning, villagers came to know about the incident and they sent letter to Tehsildar, police station and higher officials regarding it. They demanded that those responsible for black marketing of foodgrains meant for the poor should be punishe.  The Tehsildar has assured that matter would be inquired into and if salesman is found guilty then he would be suspended with immediate effect.

Villagers are annoyed as Dial 100 police personnel are involved in this act. Now they are waiting for tough action against the guilty.  Himanshu Chaubey, SHO, Devendranagar police station informed that statements of Dial 100 police personnel, villagers and other concerning persons have been taken and villagers have informed about involvement of Dial 100 staffers in black marketing of foodgrain bags from Co-operative Society, Simri Madaiyan village. After inquiry, guilty would be punished.
