Chief Minister seeks suggestions from doctors to improve health facilities

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday sought suggestions from doctors in a bid to improve health facilities in the state. He was addressing the doctors on the second day of the International Conference on “Transforaminal Stitchless Spine Surgery Under Local Anaesthesia (TSSULA) 2019” being organised by Department of Neurosurgery of Ramkrishna Care Hospital (RCH) at Hotel Sayaji Raipur. 

Addressing the conference, Chief Minister Baghel requested the doctors to give their valuable suggestions for improvement of health services in the state. Due to hectic and irregular lifestyle, people are suffering from spine problems. It is a matter of pride that now world class health facilities are being provided in Raipur, he added.

The Chief Minister praised the efforts of the Hospital to organise the international level conference in the State Capital and the doctors of the state should take benefit from the expert doctors of the foreign countries in the conference. The Chief Minister said that it needs to do a lot of work in health sector and the State government is committed to improve health facilities in the state.

In his address, Health Minister T S Singhdeo said that Chhattisgarh would emerge as a centre of specialist doctors in future. Singhdeo further said that the State government would give all possible help for expansion of health facilities in the state.

Senior Neurosurgeon of RCH Dr S N Madhariya and Medical and Managing Director Dr Sandeep Dave also spoke. Dr Satishchandra Gore, FCOO Dr Tanushree Siddharth and other doctors were present. The Chief Minister also released a book on “Transforaminal Stitchless Spine Surgery Under Local Anaesthesia” written by Dr Malkan. Renowned consultants and doctors from various countries are also participating in the conference. Various sessions are being held in the four-day conference.
