Actor-comedian Sanket Bhosale, who is part of the show MTV Beats, says he loves to create his make-believe world. Dr Sanket Bhosale’s Baba Ki Chowki gleamed with the best of Bollywood stars. After faces like Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Katrina Kaif, get ready for funnier and crazier conversations in days to come.

Excerpts:

Baba Ki Chowki has been immensely successful. Were you anticipating such reactions?

We were positive right at conceptualisation stage that a chat show of this nature featuring an anchor impersonating a huge Bollywood star persona and interacting with his fellow Bollywood star was a never before attempted format on TV, and that it would find good takers. That it has gone on to gain such traction on TV and the digital medium has justified our belief in the format.

If you can share 5 most interesting moments from the show

1) That the show made its debut with Megastar Amitabh Bachchan as its first celeb guest was personally a great moment for me and also from the show launch point of view. It doesn’t get better or bigger than that.

2) Sanju Baba coming on the show and showering his love and support for me and the show. It was a very memorable and sentimental moment for all involved in the show.

3) Parineeti Chopra’s never-ending unstoppable laughter on the show. That was the longest recorded laughter ever on a celebrity chat show across the globe, I would like to believe.

4) Ranbir Kapoor coming to promote Sanju on Baba Ki Chowki was an interesting moment.

5) More recently we had the honour of shooting with the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan at his famous Mumbai abode Mannat. It was surreal!

6) Bollywood’s favorite Bhaijaan Salman Khan on Baba ki Chowki was another memorable moment.
Baba ki Chowki airs on MTV Beats.
