Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is firm on its demand to bring immediate ordinance for construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, said Bhaiyyaji Joshi. After inauguration function of Golden Jubilee year of DMPDSVM, Joshi was talking to mediapersons. “I don’t know what Prime Minister Narendra Modhi had commented on Ram Mandir, but RSS is firm on its demand to bring ordinance immediately.” Joshi also supported the statement by RSS Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat who once said ‘Ladenge aur Adenge’. “We support the stand by RSS Chief and ‘Hum Adenge’ till immediate ordinance would not come,” he added.

“Education should not be a stereotype or monotonous. It should help an individual to excel in life by inculcating values, morals, building capacity and developing potential,” said Sarkaryawah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Suresh alias Bhaiyyaji Joshi while inaugurating Golden Jubilee Festival of Dharampeth M P Deo Smruti Vidnyan Mahavidyalaya (DMPDSVM) at its premises on North Ambazari Road on Tuesday.

Appreciating the role of Dharampeth Education Society in promoting science, Joshi stated, “A lot of transformation of education system in India is needed, if country wants overall success.”

Reception Committee President, Kanchan Gadkari; President of Dharampeth Education Society, Adv Ulhas Aurangabadkar; Secretary, Ratnakar Kekatpure; Vice-President, Ramkrishna Kulkarni; Adv Sanjeev Deshpande, Treasurer, Anant Apte; former presidents - Raviji Joshi, Prabhakar Mundle, Vishram Jamdar, DMPDSVM Principal, Dr Akhilesh Peshwe also shared dais. Earlier, Golden Jubilee Festival was inaugurated at the hands of Bhaiyyaji Joshi. Ex-President and noted businessman Prabhakar Mundle was also feted by him.

Narrating glory and strength of ancient Education System based on Gurukul Tradition, Joshi mentioned, “The country has a strong tradition of scientists right from Aryabhatt, Bhaskaracharya to APJ Abdul Kalam. The Rishis, Sages and Muni in ancient times had cultivated a value-based and moral-based education system in the form of Guru Shishya tradition. Unfortunately, the country has lost this tradition and new formal system of education was introduced in country. In this stereotype education system, a teacher is expected to teach for 35minutes and students getting 35 marks have been declared successful. This means, these students are failed by 65 percent in education. Education has also become a source of getting lucrative jobs and earn money. Present education is information oriented not knowledge oriented.”

Adv Ulhas Aurangabadkar made introductory remarks. Dr Akhilesh Peshwe spoke on work of Dharampeth Education Society. Vinay Modak recited vaiyaktik geet. Renuka Deshkar conducted the proceedings and Ratnakar Kekatpure proposed a vote of thanks. Vice-Principal Vinaya Kashikar, Dr Archana Kulkarni, Prof Shobha Zalke, Prof Atul Moghe, Prof Shashi Joshi, Prof Sujata Ali, Prof Ranjana Kulat, Prof Vidya Katoke, Dr Lanjewar, Dr Rajesh Pashine, Dr Arvind Kale and Dinesh Gulhane worked hard for for the success of the event.
