Republic Day celebrated with patriotic fervour

Shree Shivam
SHREE Shivam celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour in all its showrooms situated at Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, Nagpur, Jabalpur and Bhopal on January 26. Like in the past, this year too tableaus were set-up on patriotic theme in the prominent location in these cities on Republic Day.


Main objective of these tableaus was to inspire and instill the feeling of patriotism among the general public. The contribution made by the freedom fighters and martyrs are also highlighted and information on major events related to the freedom struggle were detailed on the occasion. It is worth mentioning that apart from commercial and corporate works, Shree Shivam also executes its social responsibility with enthusiasm. The Republic Day was also celebrated in a grand way at ist Raipur-based showroom. The live presentation by staff members of the showroom was the center of attraction among the public. Senior Advocate of Chhattisgarh High Court Afzal Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. Similarly, Director of Khalsa College Arvinder Khurana was present as chief guest in the programme at Shree Shivam, Durg.


C’garh Public School
THE national festival of Republic Day was celebrated with nationalistic spirit and zest at Chhattisgarh Public School (CPS), Raipur. As scheduled, celebration commenced with paying patriotic tribute to the martyrs, freedom fighters, leaders, pioneers and advocates of the Constitution, who sacrificed their life for the sake of motherland.
Yajna Singh, President of Jagriti Mandal, Pandri and social activist of RSS, Raipur branch graced the occasion as chief guest and hoisted the tricolor. Yoga trainer SubhashTiwari, Chairperson of CPS JyotiAgrawal and Principal CPS Rakesh Chaturvedi were other dignitaries also present. In his message, the chief guest appealed students to embody the spirit and courage similar to that of our soldiers in the formation of ‘future new India’. Chairperson emphasised about the value of Constitution and its preamble to run the largest Democracy in the world. Outstanding students who proved their mettle at national, state, district and inter-school level from cultural, sports, academic, literary fields were felicitated by the dignitaries on the pious occasion of Republic Day. A colourful cultural programme festooned with patriotic songs, speech, dance and drama was showcased by the students reflecting their love for the motherland India.


KITE
KRITI Institute of Technology and Engineering College (KITE) celebrated 70th Republic Day with great fanfare. The programme commenced with garlanding the photo of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and lighting of ceremonial lamp. Mannulal Agrawal graced the occasion as chief guest and unfurled the national flag. He also shared his views addressing the students and guests.


Chairman of SBA Educational Society Rajesh Agrawal said that the progress made by the country is because of the sacrifice made freedom fighters. Now, it is the citizen’s responsibility to keep the country safe, secured and work for its betterment. He called on younger generation to work with sincerity and thus country will progress. Secretary Saurabh Baradia said that looking at unfurling of tricolour gives the feeling of joy. Everyone lives for themselves, but we must also live for the sake of country, he added. Director of SBA Educational Society Abhishek Agrawal and Principal of the college Dr B C Jain also addressed the programme.


Disha College
EVOKING national spirit, Disha College celebrated the Republic Day. It was a sacred occasion, marked by an enthusiastic display of patriotism by students from Disha College and Disha School.


The function held at Disha Park was graced by Chairman Disha Education Society S K Jain, Disha Shah, Komal Jain, Principal of of Disha College Dr A K Tiwari, Vice Principal of Disha School Dr Shailendra Sharma and Headmistress of Disha School (Primary Section) Mamta Singh. Chief guest S K Jain hoisted the national flag. In the series of programmes, the winners of various coand extra curricular activities were felicitated with trophy and certificates. The most prestigious awards for academics and non-academic categories of different streams were felicitated with gold medals.
