Patel takes charge of Panchayat and Rural Development Ministry

Concept of Panch Parmeshwar will be strengthened. Better implementation of beneficiary-oriented schemes will be ensured. Farmers, poor and labourers need not wander from place to place now. Things mentioned in manifesto will be implemented. This was said by the Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Kamleshwar Patel after assuming charge of the office. Patel assumed charge after performing pooja with his wife Priti Patel.

Development model of Chhindwara to be implemented in entire State: Patel further mentioned that scheme should be prepared to implement development model of Chhindwara in the entire State as per the requirement after studying it. He stated that arrangements should be expanded at lower level too.

Stop migration of labourers: Patel, at a meeting with officers, said that, schemes should be monitored constantly. Stop labourers’ migration. He mentioned that, they should also mull increasing amount under Panch Parmeshwar head, improve condition of training centres and prepare a calendar for training. Moreover, inform about the schemes by organising conventions at Janpad level, he added.

Additional Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains informed about various schemes. He said that 7 factories through self-help groups are being started in the State for nutritious food for Anganwadi centres. Dividend will be given to women only. Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Amit Rathore, Director MNREGA G V Rashmi, CEO RRDA Nitesh Vyas were present in the meeting.
