Chief Minister Kamal Nath has already started taking steps to fulfill promises made in Vachan Patra

ASSURING to work for overall development of Jabalpur, duo Cabinet Ministers in Madhya Pradesh Government from Jabalpur Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot and Social Welfare Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria said it is our duty and moral responsibility to fulfill expectations of people of Jabalpur city who have supported and trusted us by giving their precious votes and made us victorious in the State Assembly elections-2018.


Expressing gratitude towards citizens for their support, Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot claimed dearth of finances will never be a hurdle in execution and implementation of development plans in the region. To prioritise works for planned development works have been initiated under the leadership of Chief Minister Kamal Nath. To fulfill promises made in Vachan Patra of Congress during State Assembly elections, the Chief Minister has already started taking steps, he added. Social Welfare Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria said that after a long time Jabalpur has got a strong representation in the State Government.


Availing the opportunity and to pay back for love and support showered by the people of Jabalpur, the Congress Government will fulfill all the promises made in Vachan Patra. Bhanot further added that taking a step forward in this direction, a review meeting of all departmental heads was convened in the city. In this meeting, review on present status of current schemes and programmes was done.
He said to enhance good governance practices all sort of efforts will be made as well for overall development of Jabalpur city every possible step will be taken assuring development following Chhindwara model.


Schemes of public interest will be revised: Tarun Bhanot
Pertaining to State Government’s decision on discontinuing different beneficiary schemes started by the previous government, Finance Minister Tarun Bhanot said as per wish of CM Kamal Nath, available schemes in the State are being reviewed first. If schemes have any public interest then they would be revised with enhanced provisions to benefit every section of the society. “We people belong to Gandhian ideology. We do not trust on vanishing any political ideology, party or thought from anywhere but are willing to enhance the system by making some positive changes in programmes and schemes. Review of schemes has already been ordered to stop leakage or corruption. For reviews all departmental financial track will be monitored and accordingly impact analysis and later future course of action will be decided.”


Cong has history of sacrifices for motherland: Lakhan Ghanghoria

Replying to a query on Vande Mataram recital row, Cabinet Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria said, “Congress party has fought the freedom struggle and has history of giving sacrifices in the name of motherland. Surprisingly, there are political and non-political organisations who do not have any history or sacrifice in the freedom struggle are trying to teach us a lesson on patriotism. The motive behind the decision was to organise Vande Mataram recitation involving public.”
