Purity of handloom weave silk, cotton with ethnic richness of traditions in colouring, texturing and paintings works brought by the artisans participating in the Madhya Pradesh Hasthashilp evam Hathkargha Mela-2018 gathering tremendous appreciation and sales by the visitors at Golebazar, on Friday.

Visitors looking for some material with traditional richness of quality and looks are enjoying shopping in the newyear. Artists form different centres of the country have brought wide collection of dress material, as well as ethnic richness in handicraft and handloom items.

The ongoing exhibition cum sale of genuine handicraft and handloom items at Golebazar is being appreciated for its wide collection of ethnic rich handicraft and handloom material. In this show the world famous dress material of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, exclusive Saris collection for bridal, marriage and party wear, having design of 1930 era as well as the stall brought by artisans from Meheshwar have brought the famous designs of Devi Ahilya Bai Holker's famous city of Maheshwar the Maheshwari Saries, etc are of great value.

Cotton bed sheets of Pandhana, Baghprint and batique from Indore, Ujjain as well as Malwa region's special variety of Kosa Silk of Waraseoni with various other specialities from Rewa, Satna, Budhnighat's wooden toys for kids, in Maheshwari saris the beautiful designs inspired with natural beauty on the banks of river Narmada remained an attraction for the show.

ML Sharma, Mela Organiser and Coordinator informed that the Madhya Pradesh Government has taken an initiative to encourage artisans, handicraft and handloom workers weaving art and to provide quality but genuine material to customers directly the exhibition is being planned across the State.
