MP Martial Arts players to participate in senior national competition

Madhya Pradesh Martial Arts Judo Academy players have been selected for the Senior National Competition which is going to be held on January 7, Monday at Vishakhapatnam. MP team includes talented players of the academy, who will be representing the State in the national competition.

The players are Sandeep Raikwar, Vijay Chaudhary, Rahul Mishra, Deepak Mishra, Shubham Rajput, Jaiprakash Yadav, Arun Verma, Antim Yadav, Shivani Yadav, Yamini Maurya, Mahima Pathak, Juhi Singh, Nausheen Khan, Nandini Depale.

They will be showcasing their tremendous talent in the competition. The team has left on Friday along with Judo team including Geetika Pant and Assistant trainer Vijay Shankar Pandey to participate in the senior level competition.  Before leaving for the competition, the players met Director of Sports and Youth Welfare Dr SL Thaosen.

Director Dr Thaosen extended his best wishes to the players and encouraged them for giving their best in the competition. All the players are trained under the guidance of Judo Academy Chief Trainer Kamla Rawat.

Notably, the players who won gold medal in the State-level Judo Competition held few days ago at Indore are representing Madhya Pradesh at the national level. In the State-level Boys and Girls Junior and Senior category, the players of the academy excelled with laurels.
