Streamline traffic in Ranjhi, demand Block Congress Committee members

The members have also demanded action against illegal vegetable handcarts run in Bada Patthar area. Commuters find it difficult to move in the area. They alleged that illegal auto stands have emerged as a major problem for people in Ranjhi area

 

Block Congress Committee members of Ranjhi Khamaria submitted a memorandum to the SHO, Police Station, Ranjhi on Saturday, over deteriorating law and order and unorganised traffic conditions in Ranjhi area of the city.
Large number of Block Congress Committee members under the leadership of senior Congress leaders gathered in front of Ranjhi police station. Congress members submitted a memorandum to the SHO. In the memorandum, Congress workers demanded immediate action to streamline unorganised traffic in Ranjhi area. They also demanded action against gambling, sale of smack, drugs under the behest of some politicians in the area.


Congress workers also demanded action against anti-social elements indulged in eve-teasing near Saint Gabriel School Government, Government College.  They also demanded action against illegal vegetable handcarts run in Bada Patthar area. Commuters find it difficult to move in the area. They alleged that illegal auto stands have emerged as a major problem for people in Ranjhi area. Many shopowners have made encroachment before their shops, which is also causing problems to passers-by in the area.
Congress workers have demanded immediate intervention of police to streamline traffic in the area.
