Temperature climbs a notch

Saturday brought a bit relief to the Bhopal people from cold with the mercury climbing just a notch to 9.6 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperature in city was recorded as 26.0 degree Celsius with cloudy sky. Weather Department forecasted severe cold wave in city after three to four days due to Western disturbance in Kashmir valley.

The department informed that due to snowfall in Kashmir valley, temperature in Bhopal will be declining after three to four days. There is relief from cold of most of the divisions of State. Temperature in Indore and Chambal divisions remained normal while in Bhopal and Gwalior division districts witnessed mercury climbing by one notches. Minimum temperature remained unchanged in all districts of Bhopal.

Minimum temperature in State was recorded as 5 degree Celsius in Khajuraho, Mandla and Betul districts. Weather Department forecasted normal temperature for next 24 hours in all districts of state. The department forecasted maximum temperature as 27 degrees Celsius and minimum 10 degree Celsius for January 6 in Bhopal.
