UP Deputy CM Maurya invites CM Nath for Prayagraj Kumbh

Kumbh of Prayagraj is starting from January 15 onwards. More than 5,000 NRIs are likely to turn up for Kumbh

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya told that on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, he has come to invite people of Madhya Pradesh for Prayagraj Kumbh. During his State visit, he also invited CM Kamal Nath and former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for Kumbh.


Informing about Prayagraj Kumbh, he told that the budget of last Kumbh was just Rs 1,350 crore and this time budget of Rs 4,300 crore has been earmarked for Kumbh Mela.
He said in comparison to last time, more toilets have been constructed. The Kumbh of Prayagraj is starting from January 15 onwards. More than 5,000 NRIs are likely to turn up in the biggest religious congregation.


Ambassadors of at least 71 countries have taken up stock of preparations. Representatives of as many as 192 countries will take part in Kumbh, informed Maurya. On being asked that what is the stand of Yogi Government on Ram temple issue, he said that Prime Minister Modi has already cleared stand on this matter by citing ongoing legal procedures.
