They submitted a memorandum to Governor, requesting to take appropriate step to secure conservation of democratic values. Soon after staging walkout from Assembly, BJP MLAs, led by Leader of Opposition Gopal Bhargava and ex-CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, started to march towards Governor House. Chouhan accused Congress government of throttling democracy. He described the act of Protem Speaker not consider Opposition’s proposal to field Kunwar Vijay Shah for Speaker’s post election as undemocratic.

He told that first day of session proved to be a black day. He alleged that ruling party tossed democratic values into the air and BJP MLAs oppose this move in a strong manner. He warned Congress government that BJP would not tolerate devaluation of democratic values.
