Irregularity in uninterrupted power supply will not be tolerated: ICP Keshri

Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) ICP Keshri has warned officers and employees of power companies that any irregularity will not be tolerated in ensuring uninterrupted power supply across the State. He appreciated efforts of officers and employees for meeting record electricity demand of above 14,000 MW and providing electricity to every section of the society. Keshri was addressing a meeting of senior officers of power companies at the State electricity headquarters, Shakti Bhawan, on Tuesday.

He reviewed performance of power companies and gave necessary directions to avoid any irregularity. He reviewed maintenance and position of coal supply at thermal power stations and also directed for synchronisation of under construction power transmission sub-stations within stipulated time in different regions. The Additional Chief Secretary (Energy) directed officers for intimating public representatives in respective areas before technical shut down of power system.


Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company, MD, Sanjay Kumar Shukla (IAS), Madhya Pradesh Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company, MD, Nandkumaram (IAS), MP Power Transmission Company, MD, PAR Bende and MP Power Generating Company, Director (Technical), A. K. Tailor and senior engineers were present.
