MSME-DI, Nagpur has organised awareness programme/vendor development programme with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Mumbai. The main objective was to search vendors for them under the Public Procurement Policy which has been announced by Government for growth, development and promotion of MSEs.

Under the policy, it is mandatory for the CPSUs to procure minimum 25 per cent of their purchases from MSEs. The main aim is to reduce the cost of products and benefit MSEs as well as CPSUs.
