RAIPUR,

A poetry recitation programme was organised at the Police Academy Chandkhuri to explain trainee police officers/personnel the jest of human sensitivity. Abhinat Raipur in association with the Chhattisgarh Police Academy Chandkhuri Raipur Superintendent of Police (SP) Shashi Mohan Singh and under the  direction of Yog Mishra organised the poetry programme in the auditorium of the academy. In this monologue recitation, Sanjeev Mukharjee deeply moved the police personnel with his strong acting.

This famous poem was written by great Chhattisgarhi poet Adam Godwa, who appeared like he wanted to change the entire system in a moment when he read the poetry in his rebellious style. His creation ‘Mai Chamaro Ki Gully Tak Le Chalunga Aapko’ is based on a true story of a rape victim girl of back caste.

Police personnel also interacted with the director and actors after the performance. At the beginning, SP Shashi Mohan Singh explained trainee officers how they should maintain compassion, affection, and blissfulness during the duty.
In his address, Yog Mishra stated that without compassion, heart would be a stone. Without the melody, words would have been poison. He quoted a story of Guru Nanak Dev to better explain the sensitivity. At last, he recited the poetry ‘Saryu Paar Ki Monalisa.’
