CM unveils life-size statue of Raja Bhoj in Chhindwara

The Chief Minister said we need to connect young generation with rich Indian culture, traditions and values.

Unveiling the statue is an effort to apprise the future generation about Raja Bhoj’s personality and accomplishments


CHIEF Minister Kamal Nath said that there is need to connect young generation with Indian culture, traditions and social values. Only then we can develop our country and make it great again. He mentioned that development is visible by works not by just announcements. Kamal Nath was addressing a public gathering after unveiling life size statue of Raja Bhoj after dedicating water supply scheme in Chhindwara. he alsi inspected under construction Government Medical College in Chhindwara on Sunday.


Raja Bhoj described Indian culture as great: Describing installation of life-size statue of Raja Bhoj as significant for people of Chhindwara, CM Nath asserted that Raja Bhoj had a wide vision for reconstruction of India and to enrich its culture. He gave a new direction to the culture of the country and set examples while working for public welfare. Owing to this, we must remember him and hence the statue has been installed to give a message to the future generation with his personality and accomplishments. Nath further said that even our country has diversity in every field but despite this we all are united with a strong bond. The entire world looks amazingly at this culture, which unites every heart.


Development of Chhindwara is a result of citizens’ love and faith: CM Kamal Nath dedicated Water Supply Scheme for Chhindwara. He said that the scheme has been completed 20 days before the target. He stated that whatever development is visible in Chhidwara it is a result of faith, strength and love showered upon him by the citizens. He said that it is a big asset for him. On this strength we all will move forward on the path of development by defeating all odds.


Efforts to be made to make it a World Class Hospital: Kamal Nath said that we are making efforts to make Government Medical College as a world class hospital equipped with best medical facilities. We intend that people of Chhindwara besides people of nearby places do not have to go to other places for treatment but people of other places should come here for medical treatment. Only officers will announce new  development projects: Kamal Nath

AFTER taking oath as Chief Minister, Kamal Nath in his first visit to Chhindwara said that he will not make any announcements from now on all the announcements will be made by the officers and they will be given responsibility to ensure its implementation and completion. As per his statement, Collector Dr Niwas Sharma made announcement for construction of 38 roads of 67 kms in 24 villages. He informed that an amount of Rs 50 crore has been received for construction and road construction work will begin within next one month. Kamal Nath said that he does not announce development works. He further mentioned that neither he announced, when the highway constructed in Chhindwara nor he made announcement that Chhindwara to Delhi train will be started. He reiterated that announcements do not bring development. If development is done then people will see it.
