Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and President of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee Bhupesh Baghel termed the interim budget, presented by acting Finance Minister Piyush Goyal in Lok Sabha on Friday, as ‘Jumla Bullet Express’.

Chief Minister Baghel tweeted on his twitter account and claimed that Central government made fake promises (Jumla) in Lok Sabha elections-2014 and because of it, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) got success to form government at the centre.

After Jumla-Express-2014, the BJP government again made fake promises to develop 1 lakh digital villages in next five years in the interim budget so that the NDA could again win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Baghel questioned that how many cities have been developed as Smart City in the country in the last
five years.

Even not a single city in Chhattisgarh has been developed as Smart City. The Central Government failed to generate employment for 2 crore youths of the country. Unemployment reached at the lowest level in  the country in the last 45 years in the country. People from all sections and classes are suffering due to Centre’s wrong policies, he added.
