BMC razes 15 illegal under construction houses at Arya Nagar

Bhilai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and Town and Country Planning Department team on Friday taking stern action against illegal construction, razed down 15 under construction houses at Arya Nagar under Ward-9. The boundary walls of the houses were being constructed without taking building permission from the concerned department. Earlier to this BMC issued notices to the owners. 

In the presence of Assistant Engineer of Building Permission Debarment, Daulat Chandrakar, Bhouram Vaidha, Assistant Revenue Officer, Harcharan Singh Arora, Ramayan Singh along with the demolition squad members of the corporation the demolition drive was conducted at Krishna Grand City where the boundary walls and under construction houses were demolished.

In many places under the jurisdiction of the BMC like Kurud, Kohka, Junwani, Khamaria and Risali illegal constructions are being undertaken without taking permission from the Town and Country Planning Department. In the last few month many houses are constructed likewise besides Junwani Road many tin sheds are being constructed and illegal hotels and dhabas are been run.

Also in Kohka and Kurud areas illegal ploting is been done by the builders as such after receiving complaints BMC Commissioner, SK Sundarani four days ago wrote letter to District Registrar and asked to stop the registry of the land at Ward-16, Jawarhar Nagar Kurud being done by Maurya Construction and Shri Constrictions, besides this notice has been issued to a Risali developer too.
