State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Khajuraho MP, Vishnudutt (V D) Sharma, on Monday took an important meeting of Jabalpur city and rural unit of the party at divisional office. Addressing a huge gathering of party leaders and workers Sharma emphasised the need to strengthen the party’s nationalist ideology by enrolling more members in the second phase of ‘Sangathan Parv’. He appealed party workers to make Jabalpur and rural areas the top-performing regions in terms of membership by activating booth committees more efficiently. He said, as BJP workers set a historic milestone in the first phase by enrolling over one crore members in Madhya Pradesh, the goal for the second phase is to surpass that figure by enrolling even more people into the party. He said expanding the BJP family is not just about adding members, but also about empowering the nation. The ‘Sangathan Parv’ is a medium to strengthen the country, not just a membership drive. Sharma further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed to recruit one crore young members who will lead India by the year 2047. To achieve the grand vision, BJP workers must put their full energy into the membership drive. Party workers should visit booths with enthusiasm and enrol people as members of the BJP.

The success of “Booth Vijay Abhiyan” is evident from BJP’s victory in 163 assembly seats and all 29 Lok Sabha seats in previous elections. He added that under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, the people of India have firm faith in the BJP. The policies and schemes of both the central and Madhya Pradesh governments have provided self-employment opportunities to lakhs of people. Over 25 crore people have risen above the poverty line. Likewise, crores have received benefits such as housing through the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, healthcare under the Ayushman Bharat scheme and gas connections through the Ujjwala scheme. Sharma encouraged party workers to connect these beneficiaries with the BJP by making them members during door-to-door campaigns. Amongst those participated in the meeting were MP Ashish Dubey, Vinod Gotia, Prabhat Sahu, MLA Ashok Rohani, MLA Abhilash Pandey and others.

‘Not aware about...

“Everyone has their own opinions. People say many things, but this is not the official stance of the organization.” It is reported that Chintu Verma, during a talk with the media on Monday in Indore said Garba is a festival dedicated to the worship of the Mother Goddess. As many people as possible should participate in it. From time to time, discussions arise about certain people joining the celebrations, leading to debates. Hence, “I believe and I would like to appeal to everyone that when we distribute prasad in the pandals, we should also offer cow urine as prasad, just as we consume it, since the cow is like a mother to us."

During the meeting, V D Sharma inducted several new members into the BJP, including former Congress State General Secretary Lakshmi Bain, engineer Tarun Dubey, advocate Ashish Prajapati, Jayant Singh, Santosh Singh and Ravi Tripathi. He welcomed them with a party stole as a gesture of inclusion.
