The CBSE has accepted the proposal to cancel the recognition of a private school in Kamala Nagar area of Bhopal. In this school, a teacher had brutally raped a 3-year-old girl. This incident which happened on September 17 had shaken the whole city. The Government had taken strict action against the school. According to the information, the school has failed to ensure the safety of its students. Its recognition will not be renewed from the next session. This school with 324 students will now be run by the Government. Bhopal Collector has sent a proposal to CBSE to cancel the recognition of the school, which has been accepted. This is not the first such incident in Bhopal. Earlier, a 6-year-old girl had accused the school teacher of touching her inappropriately in the van. Apart from this, another teacher was accused of sexually abusing the student for a year and making objectionable videos.
 
The Government had taken strict action against the school. The Education Department has announced that from now on the Government will run the school. CBSE has accepted the proposal to derecognise the school and the school will be run under the supervision of a Government principal till the end of the current session. According to District education officer of Bhopal N K Ahirwar, the school will now be run under the supervision of Vijendra Kumar Katare, the Principal of Government High School Jamusarkalan (Berasia), who has been appointed to oversee the school's operations.
