with its debut in the prestigiousTimes Higher Education
(THE) World University
Rankings 2025.

while speaking at a press conference at Datta Meghe Medical
College, Wanadongri on
Wednesday. Principal Advisor

Waghmare, Vice-Chancellor,
Dr Gaurav Mishra, Pro ViceChancellor, Dr Anup Marar,
DirectorOff-Campus,DrSweta
Pisulkar,Registrar,Dr Sandeep
Srivastava, Dr Zaheer Quazi,
Dr Tripti Waghmare and Dr
Pavan Bajaj were also present
at the press conference.
Dr Ved Prakash Mishra said
that DMIHER (DU) has been
ranked in the band of 1001-
1200 in the overall category,
618th in medicine and dentistry and 773rd in the other
health category.
At the national level, it is ranked 12th in the
medicine and dentistry category, 20th in other health category and 45th in the overall
category. This year, Times
Higher Education (THE)
ranked over 2,867 institutions
from 115 countries.
In another prominent
achievement, 25 nursing students cleared the placement
drive conducted at Smt.
Radhikabai Meghe Memorial
College of Nursing (SRMMCON),DMIHERUniversity.The
salary package for nurses is
around Rs 30 lakh per annum.
Most of them were placed at
UKE Hospital in Hamburg,
Germany.
On September 26, 2024, the
students were handed Letters
of Intent (LoI), marking the
beginning of their professional journey, he added.
