TEAM Khandelwal, led by senior bridge players Rajeev Khandelwal, Puranik brothers Vishnu and Arun, M Mor, M Luley and M Dutta emerged champions in Annual RK Kumra Memorial Open Bridge Tournament organised by Vidarbha Bridge Association in their sports complex at Shankar Nagar. Competing in 56 deals contest played across 7 rounds of 8 boards each, Team Khandelwal scored 90 VP, which helped them secure top honours and winners purse. Just behind them were Playwell, who finished runners-up with a tally of 86.44 VP. Playwell consisted of father and son duo of Raja and Amit Rewatkar and Kumra brothers Neeraj and Sanjeev. In IMP pairs event, Kar and Hararwala duo emerged victorious. R Deshpande and Anilkumar Mohota finished second best.
